Dog Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in saving a life by adopting a dog! The following information is required so that we can assist you in the selection of a new family member. The information you provide will be held in the utmost of confidence, and will only be used for the adoption process.
Please complete all fields on the application below and sign it. There is a $10 application fee.
Once you submit your application, we should receive it within 24 hours. You will be notified that it has been received and has moved onto the review process.
Our application review process can take several days and will include sending pictures of your home or an actual home visit. The quicker you respond to any requests we may make for additional information, the quicker we can process your application.
If we are asking for additional information, it doesn't mean that you are the individual approved to adopt the dog, we are still reviewing your application. Please be aware that a single dog or puppy can receive multiple applications.
If we think your family would be a good fit for that dog/puppy, we will invite you to schedule a meet and greet appointment.
If the meet and greet goes well and the dog/puppy is a good fit for your family you’ll be able to leave with the him that day.
All applicants must:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have photo identification showing your present address, such as a driver’s license or passport
Own their own home, or have their landlord’s consent to have a pet
You’ll need the following information in order to complete the application:
Name of the pet you’re interested in adopting (if applicable)
Contact information for your current/past veterinarian
Contact information for 2 personal references that do not live in your home
Details (breed, age, etc.) for all pets currently living in your household
